Do Navy Reservists get paid even when they are not drilling?
You get paid when you are drilling one weekend a month and two weeks a year but are you still being paid when you are not drilling?

I'm taking a wild guess here, but I think the answer is no. My fiancé is a Marine reservist who also works a civilian job. The only time the Marine Corps pays him is drill. He's working on going active so he can get more money. If you want some decent money out of your military career- you got to go active!

No, unless they are called to full time duty like many of the troops in the war right now.

Evil old navy... [ 3 Answers ]

I was just wondering if anyone knows the name of the song in the new old navy commercial "spring loves stripes". A woman sings it and the chorus goes " daddio, daddio" a few times... Its stuck in my head for hours after I see the commercial so I figure it would make sense for me to at least know...
