    Can't take this seriously
I am 13 and in the 7th grade. For some odd reason, I cannot take anything that has to do with education outside of high school or college. I'm in class always thinking or getting distracted about high school, taking my SAT and ACT, and going to college. I'm your average not A honor student, most of the time have a C+ in math or higher, but its frustrating! I also failed the 1st grade due to moving etc. I'm supposed to be in the 8th grade. So I am trying my hardest to get good grades and skip the 8th grade to get in the grade I'm supposed to be in, but the school board (or something) are normally strict. HELP!

Don't focus on the SAT, that won't help you do better on them, or help you get into college any faster or make you more prepared; and you're only in 7th grade, beginning middle school so don't worry about high school or college. Try focusing on doing better in your math class, or your classes for 7th grade rather than getting into college. It's okay to work towards the future and have goals educationally, but try to make sure you can handle your classes in your present.

You have a huge and wonderful advantage at your age and in that grade! I had the opposite problem. I had skipped kindergarten and first grade, and ended up being the youngest and smallest kid in the class. The teachers even put a concrete block under my feet because my feet wouldn't reach the floor when I sat in a desk. And I always had to sit in the front row because I was so small.

Take advantage of your age and size. You have all the possibilities of being the leader in your class and to help the other students achieve and be on their best behavior.

Can you figure out ways to make that happen?

First forget skipping, with average grades that is not going to happen, and certainly not if you are not working hard.

Next don't worry about high school and SAT scores, worry about passing this year.

And you are in "your" class now, the one where you are working at.
