Thoughts of my ex and her new man are flooding my mind!
I was engaged to the girl of my entire universe and when we broke everything off back in February, my world was crushed. Her and I slowly started talking again and hanging out and are now amazing friends. She is with a new guy now who, by pretty much every standard, is a lot more attractive that I am. I can't seem to stop getting thoughts of them together out of my mind. I am very happy that she is happy now but it isn't stopping the thoughts. I think of them kissing, hugging, having sex and doing things that her and I used to do. Its killing my emotional and mental well being and I don't know how to make them stop. Can anyone please help?

You have to break off seeing her, going forward.

Find a constructive way to fill your time like participating in sports, a job, a hobby... get yourself out in the world where you will have to come face to face with reality by interacting with people and doing something. Being closed off in your private thoughts and fantasies is a bad idea..

    Best wishes, :)
