    Nasty e-mail
A few days ago I received an unpleasant, unprovoked and completely unjustified e-mail from someone I know. I have tried hard not to let it get to me but it has upset me so much I just can't get it out of my head. Its extra annoying because this should be a really happy time for me. I know I need to just let go but can't seem to be able to.

Of course. It was from my ex dog trainer. I used to drive over an hour along the motorway on a Monday night to attend her two hour training class with my dogs. After going for a couple of years, I had other stuff going on in my life and decided not to go any more. The trainer seemed fine about this decision and I have kept up my training at home. They have learnt to jump through a hula hoop, roll over and we regularly practise sit stay, down stay, weaving a figure eight through my legs etc.. Well this trainer runs one of these Yahoo groups for people who are or have attended her classes, which I was a member of. I posted a message last month asking for tips on teaching 'roll over' and also posted some pictures of my new puppies as I knew that the members of the group would prob like to see them. Then a few days ago I posted a message asking advice on how to deal with the OTT attention seeking behaviour of one of my dogs. I received this e-mail in reply. It basically said, that she was kicking me out of the group because I am clearly not training my dogs, was just using her group to advertise my puppies and that I don't listen to her. What she said was total rubbish so I replied to her e-mail, detailing the new tricks my dogs have learnt and explaining that I wouldn't want one of my pups to go to a member of hewr group anyway as she primarily trains dogs with behavioural problems I just thought they would like to see a picture of my pups. Also pointed out that if I didn't listen to her, my dogs would not have progressed so impressively with their training during my time going to her classes and said that my family got sick and tired of hearing me say "Jane says....." Oh and she also said that my dog has no self control. Well he can do a down stay in a hall full of strange dogs whilst I (and all the other owners) leave the hall and come back and he will not move. If that's not self control I don't know what is! I annoyingly forgot to mention this in my reply to her. There was no reply to my e-mail. It's a mystery why she has attacked me like this.
