    Looking for a professional
    Hello,

I have major family and personal problems in my life right now, and I don't want to share it on a nonsecure website.

If there is anyone that you guys know that I could talk to , to help me sort through my life, who is a certifiable professional, It would really really be great. Thank you.

PS if you're wondering why I don't find a pro where I live, my town is entirely too small, and word always gets around.

    Kind regards

I'm a counselor with a master's in counseling psychology. Social workers and counselors are supposed to uphold clients' confidentiality, so I'm not sure why you think word would get around. I'm from a very small town, so maybe you are thinking you will be seen and recognized going to or in someone's office? Could you journey to another town? Also, there are help lines, 800 numbers to call to discuss not only immediate problems but also your worries about others' knowing your business and how to avoid that. There are web sites that offer counseling, so let me know if that would interest you, and I will find you a reputable site or two or three.

I have no money to spend. Maybe I could talk to you somehow?

County health departments usually charge on a sliding scale, taking into account your financial situation. Catholic Charities and Lutheran agencies also have a sliding scale and neither preach religion to clients nor expect them to be a church member. Would there be something like that in your area?
