I desperately want to give myself temporary amnesia. I saw one other discussion on this topic, but I didn't like the replies. I want actual answers that will help me accomplish my goal. I won't appretiate any 'are you an idiot' or 'you need mental help' s.

And I don't care if you appreciate it or not, I'm still saying it. If you deliberately injure yourself in an attempt to give yourself amnesia than you do need mental help.

I want amnesia because everything feels the same to me. It makes me want to puke. But I don't want to commit suicide because every time I think about it I get scared. I am getting tired of everything and everyone I know except basic things to know like words talking and all that

This is not the answer, you need to change what you do, feel and maybe who you are. Not forget, we are a sum of all of what life gives us

OK, I probably should have been more clear about what kind of answers I wanted. Though I have nothing against christianity or any other religion and I appretiate this last response and will take this advice into consideration, but I myself do not specifically worship anything, though I do believe there is a god and satan.

First, you don't dictate what kind of answers you want. When you post a question here, you accept whatever answers you get as long as they don't violate our rules.

Second, There was nothing religious about Chuck's answer. Just because he is a Christianity Expert doesn't mean all his answers have to do with religion.

You can't induce amnesia. The medical community does not know enough about how amnesia happens that it can be induced. What you might consider is hypnosis to suppress memories.

You don't want temporary amnesia; you want an emotional makeover. There is only one way to get that.

Amnesia, in it's truest form, is very rare. Self-inducing amnesia is near impossible, and downright dangerous.
