My dreams are vividly real. I often wake crying. Is this normal?
I ofyen have bad dreams. This morning I woke up crying because of my dream. I drempt that I died. I was a very old lady and my mind was sound yet my body was old and worn out. I was like on both sides. I was alive, but also I witnessed my death. Being dead and didn't want to be dead cause I was alive in my mind. I thought that this must be my soul alive and my body had died. I had to accept that I was no longer alive and I cryed. This is when I woke up. Crying. My thoughts and feelings all messed up. Effecting my whole day. I feel lost, and insecure, sad, and emotionally disturbed. Why do I have such dreams? Before I went to bed I caught the news. They had a story of, how old is too old to have a drivers license. They interviewed a lady who was 100 yrs old who had just renewed her license. She made a statement like "If I was asked, I would tell people not to live to be this old." I believe that this i.e. what triggered this dream. But my boyfriend told me that I woke up a few nights ago, crying. And that I told him the same thing. That I just watched myself die. I didn't remember that until he had mentioned it. I want to know why I have these types of odd dreams?and do I need to have my head eximined? And are my dreams part of my future or part of lifes realities to be forwarned of ? What do they mean?

First of all, do not panic. Dreams , nightmares, these are common. Many things trigger dreams. Medication (ambien for examole) can have these kind of side effects. TV, movies, books, all of these things can cause these things. That being said, worrying about it can cause more bad dreams. You may need to talk to a professional if this continues to find the underlying reasons for your dreams. Most intelligent people will tell you that the supernatural does not exist. Dreams cannot forsee the future. But you are worried about something, and this issue needs to be addressed.

I agree that if these dreams are happening often, not a few over a few weeks, that you might try counseling.

I do not think that your dreams are any indication of your future.
And many many dreams are odd and strange and mostly not understood. I don't think you have any worries because you have strange dreams.

This has nothing to do with Justlitlmee.

I do not agree that most intelligent people will say that the paranormal and supernatural do not exist.
Thousands and thousands of people experience things every day that cannot be explained. Many of them are quite intelligent.
I think it is those with closed minds and limited study on the subject that can dismiss every experience with a simple "it doesn't exist".
I know from experience it does.

I was speaking to the context of the problem the OP was questioning. In this case, the question of "are my dreams a preview of my future" Yes, there are thousands of unexplained events that go on, and certainly UFOs would be in that category, and alhough we may not ever have answers to everything unexplained, I believe the more rational response is the one most excepted. But I would agree, most everyone, including this poster, has experienced certain unusual happenings that would cause one to question the existence of something beyond our comprehension.

Dreams can be complicated sometimes. They may be literal in a sense sometimes, but usually are symbolic. You may want to analyze this dream yourself. And no it's not your future don't worry, and try to be positive and happy! But for example, you dreaming that you died and your feelings in that dream, may mean you are worried about death pyschially, or dying on the inside, or it could be a number of things not having to do with death per se. Try to remember details, and maybe try writing your dreams down. It may be recurring, because something in your life is causing you anxiety, try to fix things that are stressing you out. Are you depressed or have ever been depressed? Try to relax during the day a bit more, and be positive before going to sleep, don't expect to keep having these dreams. Good luck! Maybe write down the details of what happened and post it.

According to your problem there is nothing to worry about you said you were very old the dreams you are getting are related to your age it seems you think a lot about your age and death. So you are afraid of death it is because of the relationships you have or the affection you have created in your life makes you afraid of death and your mind is always thinking about that. My advice for this to stop the dreams is don't be afraid of getting old and death. Life is full of blossoms it all depends on the way you interpret your life don't be afraid of tomorrow forget the past don't think of the future just live in the present then their will be no tensions and problems..
    Good luck..
