Penis vein attached to tip of penis?
Hello I'm 20 and for as long as I can remember I have had a vein on the bottom side of my penis that runs all the way up and is attached to the head of my penis. I can only partially pull the skin down over the head of the penis before the part that is attached to the vein will pull tight. I am still a virgin. What could be the cause of this?

Thank you for any help you can provide

Also the vein on the bottom of my penis is a darker color than the rest of my penis. If I pull the skin down the part that is attached to the head pulls tight against the tip of the penis. Someone please help

The cause? It sounds like that is just how your body developed. I am assuming that you aren't circumsized. Do you feel that this effects you in a painful or negative way? I would go to a specialist and ask them this question. It's likely that you are fine and this is purely cosmetic, however if it effects your ability to completely wash your penis or urinate or perform sexually, it definitely bears looking into so that you know more.

The only time it is painful is when I masturbate when I'm moving the skin up and down a lot because it kind of puts pressure on the head of the penis. This is really the only negative effect it has. That is good news though I thought it might have been something reallly serious. Thanks for the help.

If it bothers you enough I'd just ask my doctor about surgery to fix the problem. He can evaluate you and see if it's an option. Informed is always better than feeling like you are wandering in the dark. Don't feel bad about asking either, that's what the doctor is there for, even if it seems strange to ask.

This is purely from research I have done you will need to go to the doctor but it sounds like something to do with the "frenulum"
The area of skin where the head joins to the shaft of the penis...

Here is a photo, yes it is a photo of an actual penis but for medical purposes, it has each part of the penis named.

Unfortunately I can't tell you much other than it definitely should not hurt.

Your only option is going to be to go to a doctor.
If you are worried about it being embarrassing don't, they get people coming in with problems like this all the time.
I myself had had to go in with embarrassing problems and my doctor really put me at ease.

It doesn' really hurt it is just unpleasant when I pull it down and the skin stretches. The vein sticks out further than normal on the bottom of my penis and it is a darker color.

I'd just ask your Dr if it can be cut without worry. As for the vein, some look different than others, if it doesn't bother you I wouldn't be overly concerned, but ask the Dr, they will give you enough info to at least set your mind at ease.

OK thanks. Do you have any idea how much it costs to cut it and can most doctors do it
