    Bump on penis
Ok, do not get the wrong idea, I am 14, I have never had sex, but few years ago me and a friend ( who was a guy ) kind of touched each other a bit, (like an experimental thing as a kid, most people have done it ) And now I have gone through health class and learned about some STDs.

A few months back, maybe 4-6+ months ago, I remember having a red bump area, ( kind of looked like a bloody area) and I don't remember exactly what it looked like, but now that a few weeks ago when I learned about chancres associated with syphilis, It has got me deeply worried. Now I Don't think little things like touching as a younger kid would have caused this, but the possibility still is there I suppose. So I am nervous that I may have had a chancre from syphilis, but I was wondering what else it could be?

I wouldn't be so nervous if I just went and got checked, but that would require my parent's knowledge and them getting angry, so I wouldn't want to ask them to go in to get checked, they will always look at me differenty for a long time I'd imagine, so I don't want this to be a possibility.

So does anyone have any other ideas what it may be or what it should do?

If it worries you to the point of wanting to get checked out by a doctor, then I think you should...
You don't have to say anything to your parents about the touching situation... just that you have a bump that is worrying you, you have no idea what it might be; but you'd like to see the doctor about it... I'm sure they would agree...

It really could be anything... a bug bite, a yeast of some sort, heat rash, a pimple, a boil... any number of things.. but since you're not having sex I wouldn't worry about an STD...

Let your parents know you're worried and you'd like to see the family doc... then you'll feel better about getting checked out and being fine...
    Good luck...

Tell your parents about the bump, about being worried about the bump... and see what they say... Chances are good that if they see you're worried, they'll take you in, just to alleviate your fears--bump or no bump..

Sounds to me like your worrying from a guilty conscience.
I'm pretty sure if it was std related that it would have caused more problems than one red bump. Besides it is normal for adolescent boys to get bumps, yes even on their penis.
Stop worrying and stop doing things until you are old enough not to feel guilty about it.

    Hello F:

Nahhh. You're cool. If it comes back, then do something.
