    What is this?
I found a white, round shaped pill with the numbers "512" on it. What is this medication?

Try this website: Pill Identification Wizard - Database of Drug Pictures
You should probably take it to your local pharmacist where they can confirm identification and discard of it properly.

It is a pill that needs to be flushed down the toilet :)

    Where did you find it?

Good and appropriate answers above! No matter what someone says on this site concerning the identification of a pill, even though they might be correct as to what a pill is, we don't know the person who is asking about this, nor really why they might need to know. What if the person answering is incorrect and the person who answers accepts the answer as being true? The far-reaching consequences could be devastating!

I know what it is, but I do not know the age of this person or the situation. It is best to dispose of it, or take it to a pharmacy to have them dispose of it. :)

A strong pain reliever, not something you should really have in your house as it's prescription strength and could be dangerous if misused. Disposing of it would be a good idea so no one takes it unknowingly.
