Violation because I am taking suboxone?
I was diagnosed with ADHD and have been taking a medication (adderall) for it for over 8 years. In that 8 year period, I struggled with addiction to pain medication. I started a treatment program and I am taking Suboxone as part of my treatment. There are certain doctors that can prescribe medication for Suboxone. I was seeing a doctor who was no longer allowed to prescribe suboxone. So, I had to transfer to a different doctor. When I went to my ADHD doctor, he released me from his care and said that he would not see anyone taking this medication. I was okay with that. BUT, they called my other doctor and told then that I was doctor shopping by getting suboxone from two different doctors. I just received a notice from my Suboxone doctor stating that they were informed that I was seeing other physicians for the same medication. I had told the ADHD doctor that her information was not accurate. Can that doctor call other doctors and say I am doctor shopping? Now I am screwed and I have done nothing wrong. I will not be able to be treated for my ADHD nor my addiction all because the electronic medical records showed two doctors with the same medication.

So they can't prove you went to other doctors, then you have little to worry about. If you did , contact doctors who would give this medication because you did not want to go to one who did not, that does sound like shopping

So you need to talk to your PO about it
