    Black cohosh
    Does anyone know of any side effects caused by taking black cohosh or what it is taking for and what does it help with?

    It is mainly used for female problems.
    It is mainly used for hot flashes, menopause,

    It should not be used more than 6 months.
    It can cause liver problems so you have to have your doctor monitor your liver and watch for symptoms.

    Black cohosh is supposed to be a herbal remedy for HRT in post menopausal women. Supposed to be linked to liver disease but nothing has been been proven yet. You can read more about it at this website:
