Is it round? I did find a green round pill with the imprint 5406 - that could be HCTZ, which lowers blood pressure. When you find a pill that you do not know, the wise choice is to call either your pharmacy, your ER, or your Doctor and explain what you found. They will tell you what it is and the proper disposal of that drug.

Question: How can I identify a pill?

    Answer:

You should first ask your pharmacist or doctor to identify the pill.

Actually it's Indomethacin, an arthritis medication, but as said above, if there is no reason for this to be in your home, go to a pharmacy for safe disposal of the pills.

    Complete Indomethacin information from Drugs.com
