If you did 7mg of a Lortab 10 on Saturday would they be out of your system by Monday?
I don't ever do them and from the moment I did it up until the drug test I drank water until it made me sick.

It can take up to 72 hrs for your system to push the Lortab, however, that is a general time for the population.

Depending upon the body size, the liver's ability to cleanse, and sometimes your diet (large amounts of water and various other things)... the body just pumps everything completely clean.

Where did you take the test?

What did you take that you don't want to show up? Are you aware of what shows up on a standard 5-panel?

Lortab (hydrocodone and acetaminophen) is a semi-synthetic opioid and very unlikely to register on a standard drug screen. Detection of the s/s opioid class requires a specific test unless consumed in significant quantity. Even expanded tests (10-panel) do not necessarily detect.

This type of drug can be tested for but requires a cutoff of 100 ng whereas standard opiate tests are set at 2000 ng.

No. Lortab is hydrocodone and acetaminophen. Hydrocodone is a semi-synthetic opioid, meaning it is designed to act like an opiate. Standard 5-panels react at 2000. Even if the s/s cross-reacts with the immunoassay (initial screen) the confirmatory test will still miss it.

What's the difference between opioide and opiate?

Opioides is a blanket term used for any drug which binds to the opioid receptors in the CNS. Which Opiates do.

Everywhere else I read states any form of opium-derived drugs will show as an opiate on a 5-panel.

Didn't mean to abandon you. My system or the site kept cutting me off for well over an hour. Following are some resources on opiate testing.

Quest Diagnostics. Please note the semi-synthetics are an expanded panel test. Quest is one of the largest labs in the country.

Test Country. See section Hydrocodone testing. This company sells home tests and on-site tests, I believe.

Erowid. Don't know much about this site but it provides a lot of info on drugs to the general public.

Journal of Analytical Toxicology is a good scientific resource that carries frequent articles on the subject. This 1995 study concludes that... "urine samples containing low to moderate concentrations of hydromorphone, hydrocodone, oxymorphone, and oxycodone will likely go undetected when tested by conventional immunoassays.” and provides both earlier and later related studies.

The fact that the semi-synthetics don't usually register on standard drug screens has also gone unnoticed by 88% of the doctors ordering the tests, according to a study presented at the American Psychiatric Association meeting (May, 2010)
