How long after increasing dosage should lexapro take?
Hi. I am new to this board. Ive been on Lexapro at a very low dosage (2.5, then 5mg, 7.5mg) for a month now. I just went up to 10mg about 5 days ago. Do I have to wait the full 2-4 weeks again to see any relief. It hasn't helped my anxiety symptoms AT ALL yet. Thanks a lot. Maria

Yes. It will take 2-4 weeks to get the full affect of the new dose. The other doses you quoted are kind of low. The typical starting dose for Lexapro in an adult is 10 mg.
