Horrible Eating Habits, why?
This past year and a half I started a new medicine Concerta. Before starting this, I was always between 135-140. Once I started taking 36 mg, I lost about 20 lbs where I was at 110. As of right now I'm 115-120. When I first was at 110, I became anemic, irregular periods, etc. This past month and a half though my eating habits have been crazy! I just can't stop! My sleeping patterns have also been bad, since I have decided to be prescribed to 54 mg on the concerta. One day though I had a day where I ate a regular 3 meals. But a week before I started yaz only for 3 days since it was recalled and I was making me feel sick. My question is do you have any Idea what could be making me have these ridiculous eating habits?

That's okay, I'll fix it. ;)
Now, what time of day are you taking the Concerta?

I can see where J-9 is going(possibly):)
I have been suggested to change the time of day to take the meds, instead of in the AM,to take it at night, just before bed.
After a short while I was doing much better as to the ravenous feelings.(mine was Depakote)
Even Zoloft has been a slight problem also, If you research the side effects of any of the meds you take, you'll see where the changes might be helpful. Then a discussion with your healthcare provider to make the adjustments as they are responsible for the change.

Will do! But I'm nor sure what Depakote or Zoloft is. But Concerta is for ADD, gives me energy, tons where as my heart starts to race, and I sweat. So if I take it at night, don't you think that would just keep me up all night?

I'm not sure what you are asking? Are you saying Concerta has caused you to lose weight while it has increased your appetite? Could you elaborate on what you consider "crazy eating habits"? Weight loss is very common with Concerta. Sometimes the amount of weight lost becomes a problem, as it did for you when you got down to 110 and became anemic with irregular periods.
Taking Concerta at night could contribute to sleeping problems.
Were you taking Yaz because you are sexually active, or was it because of irregular periods?

Depakote is for the mood stabilizing and Zoloft is for depression, both in combination are for the treatment of bipolar disorder.
I thought the Zoloft would do that, keep me up at night, but after a few weeks I was just fine with it,I seemed to become adjusted well enough to take it at night.
Sorry,I didn't know the med you spoke of.

I was taking yaz cause of irregular periods, but only for 4 days. And No I have recently gained 5 lbs from my over eating, and I'm worried. Its getting worse. I mean maybe it's a girl problem, and I'm just having my monthly cravings.

Yes, sometimes with our monthly hormone swings we can become ravenously hungry. That does happen. Try to limit junk food and instead choose to eat more healthy foods. Foods that are known to help reduce symptoms of PMS include fresh fruits and vegetables, cereals made from whole grains, legumes, and fish. As long as you are in a normal weight range there is no need to limit the amount of healthy food you eat.

This may be a dumb question, but is it possible to gain weight from over eating on vegetables, fruits, whole wheat bread (high in fiber) Fat free cereal. Because that's what I have been binging off.
