    Duphalac
    Hi,
'Duphalac' is a popular brand of medicine nowadays. It's a brand name of a company for lactulose solution(used as a remedy for constipation). But what does this word mean? I tried to find it all over in the net. Couldnot find any. Does anyone know the meaning of this word, 'Duphalac'?

Duphalac is a registered brand name and doesn't necessarily have a 'meaning'. It could be a combination of words to form a brand name. Here is their website:

The names of many medications don't have a meaning. However, you can almost always look at the suffix to know what kind of medication it is -lac is the suffix for a laxative, -olol is a suffix for a beta blocker, etc.
