Will I pass my EtG test?
I'm 5'11 / 160 with a high metabolism, I drank 12-15 beers every day for 4 days (during the day, not at night) stopping 88hrs before my test and had 2 beers 73 hrs. before my test. I drank lots of water in-between and a lot the morning of the test. Will I pass ?

12-15 beers per day but none at night? Give me a timeline for the daily drinking, ex. When did you start and when did you stop. I'm also looking for the daily interval between last drink of day and first drink the next day. Also your age would be helpful.

9AM-7PM daily -- 45yrs.old drinking bottled water all day for the 73hr.period before the test. And about a gallon of water the morning leading to the test also taking vitamin B Complex and a Multi vitamin.

That is a very high rate of consumption: 2.31g of pure alcohol per kg of body weight. (based on 12 beers, daily)

If this were a one-time occurrence I could reasonably predict clearance in 88 hours. The 2 beers are of little consequence.

However, daily consumption of that amount of alcohol alters the metabolism of EtOH and probably increases the amount of EtG created. For instance, I wouldn't attempt to calculate your BAC at the end of the day. You probably metabolize alcohol at twice the normal rate.

The only examples of detection of EtG beyond the 80 range derives from detox studies involving circumstances such as you note. High consumption across a long period.

Being familiar with the test, my first thought is that you will probably pass but you are within a class of drinkers that have been detected-about 12% detectable for as long as 102 hours.

One of the many flaws of this test is water solubility. So that may alter the results.

Please, please advise of your results.
