Obviously you're assuming that the wood stain had something to do with failing the breathalizer

Some wood stains do contain alcohol, but I find it very unlikely that you would fail a breathalizer because you used it.

Why were you pulled over to begin with? Why would they administer a breathalizer, if you didn't appear to be intoxicated?

Did you ask for a blood alcohol test to be taken at the time or shortly after you failed it?

Were you pulled over and given a breathalyzer test? You are lacking some details here but I can't see how you would fail from wood stain unless you were drinking it.

If you were pulled over, they would have had to have reason to administer the test...
