    Managing volume
    You are currently managing flow of a Phase II Recovery Room. You have 10 bed spaces. Your hours of operation are between 8am-6pm. You are to manage flow of 35 patients through this 10 bed area on Monday. You have 2 patient groups. Group A consists of 7 patients staying an average of 2-3 hours. Group B of 28 patients will be staying an average of 1 hour. How many beds out of your 10 should be allocated to Group A and to Group B to maintain flow to prevent bottleneck issues?
