    Does perms, dyes or bleaching affect alcohol hair strand tests
    Alcohol hair strand tests are they affected by perms or dyes etc?

    Surface applications should not have any influence on test results. Leastwise that is the current consensus.

    Hair testing has been available for other drugs for years, however prior to 2008, was not used for alcohol. Therefore, the literature is limited and relies primarily on EtG and FAEE studies.

    [The hair test screens for ethyl glucuronide (EtG) and Fatty Acid Ethyl Esters (FAEE) both late stage metabolites of ethanol. ]

I just dyed my hair today, with LorealCreme... I have used it in the past , my hair was quite light brown with some grays. I used a medium brown, well it came out pretty dark dark brown, almost black to me, how do I lighten this.:confused:
