Yellowish, smelly, n sticky discharge
I got this yellowish, kind of thin but very sticky and smelly discharge yesterday. Im not sexually active and I'm 18 years old. But even though I'm not sexually active I have had some sexual contact and I was wondering can you tell me what it is? Im in college and I can't go to the doctor because I will not be home until Easter break and my doctor is closed and when they open I will have to be back at school. And can you get a std without being penetrated? Please help me with these questions, I'm kind of scared.

Yes you can get an STD without penitration, but you need to go to a dr. Whether its on campus or not. It's very important!

Wow, you are not sexually active, but you have had sexual contact.
If the boy were infected and his penis came in contact with your vagina, it is not impossible that you could contract an STD.
Unfortunately, since your question is so vague, I haven't a better answer for you.
It is imperative though, that you do get in to the doctor. Any infection left untreated can cause further problems down the road. This does indeed sound like an infection of one sort or another and it may be necessary to get on a course of antibiotics.

Yes his penis did come in contact with my vagina but it did not penetrate. I have had numerous discharges before but none like this one I have been on an antibiotic for my skin for a month and I temporarily stopped when I start back would that help?

It could be a yeast infection from the antibiotic. Or another type of infection, but go to the doctor for sure!

Hopefully a yeast infection. Did you know you can get pregnant without penetration?? Be more careful. A dirty penis can give you a yest infection too. There should be a dr on campus you can go to and be checked for really cheap. If not call and find the nearest clinic, some make appts for family planning (this falls under that if you have an std, but they would kow if it was yeast)
Good luck and I hope you are more sure of your heath in the future.

Yes, it could most likely be the antibiotic that caused a yeast infection. You will need another prescription to get rid of this. If you are in the US, Diflucan is a good one, but can only be prescribed by a physician.
Now, on to your use of antibiotics. Did you stop before you were supposed to? This can cause bacteria to become resistant to antibiotics in the future. NEVER stop taking an antibiotic before the treatment is due to be completed. Next time the bacteria may be harder to kill and you may need stronger antibiotics.
Always take your full course of antibiotics to prevent recurrence as well as antibiotic resistant strains of bacteria.

The only way to know what this discharge is and how to treat it properly would be to have a pelvic exam that includes cultures [ for human papiloma virus, chlamydia, gonorrhea, trichomonas, yeast ].
Different infections require different reatments.
If you cannot get to your doctor / gyn, check with your local health department.
Yes - you can get an std[s] from oral, genital, or anal sex.
PLease abstain from ANY sexual activity until you are treated and well.
If that is not possible use condoms each and every time.
If you have an infection of some sort, you or your medical professional May be obligated to tell your partner[s].
I hope you get well soon.
