Tiny Bumps on Fingers
I just googled about bumps on fingers and I brought up this post by Bubbadoll back in oct. No one really answered him/her.. But I have the same condition... PLease don't just say go see a doctor...
This was the syptoms...
I have these tiny pimply bumps mainly around the sides or top of my fingers.. there is no puss.. no heads on them.. just a tiny raised bumps.. in clusters usually.. although they usually start as 1 and grow into clusters.. they are itchy.. although not enough for me to want to scratch them.. they last up to 2 weeks? And dry out.. which then my skin will peel in the area they have been in..
I just got them this last summer... I moved from MO to FL.. So does this have anything to do with it? Because it is hotter? I doubt it... Because it gets hot in MO also...
Please HELP!!

It sounds like contact dermatitis. I know you don't want to hear "go see a doctor" but we cannot do a proper exam here, so that rules out us being able to diagnose your problem.
The best doctor to see would be a dermatologist.
I get this too, but only under my wedding ring and only in the summer. I attribute it to the heat here in Tenn.

I know warts can sometimes form in clusters but I don't think that is what you have. Sometimes little bump clusters can form due to moisture in the air. It could also be Dyshidrotic eczema which can be reccurent or chronic. Honestly, the only was you can truly know is if you see your doctor!

It's most likely dyshidrotic eczema. Try not to scratch the blisters as breaking them will only prolong the healing process and make it unsightly. See a dermatologist to verify.

Thanks for all the help..
It is not warts nor Excema...
I found out earlier today it is because of the moisture in the air and the summer... I need to put baby powder on the fingers... So if anyone else askes.. that is the solution...

Get some epsom salt and a bowl of hot but not too hot water. Put your hand or hands in there and do this for 20 minutes twice a day for 2 days. When ever you get your hnads wet from anything, put some nivea lotion on them and rub it in good. You should a improvement in 2 days. The skin will peel but it will not hurt. Just new skin trying to come out.

Did you ever get an answer I have them very bad, I saw a dermatologist- I could not get a diagnosis- I got some cream and he prescribed me a steroid- prednazoan, it worked but now they are back. I think that they are related to the sun/heat/water-maybe even salt and lime- I would love a straightforward diagnosis-any ideas?

Try Benadryl gel. I have had this same condition for the past 15 years- itchy fluid filled blisters on my fingers every summer. Benadryl gel is the only thing that works for me.

I'm so glad you re-opened this question! I do have an answer, at least for my own hands. It is caused directly by exposure to sunlight. It's taken me almost 30 years to rule out all other causes. That is why they appear in the summer, or when you're visiting Florida, etc. You're simply exposing your hands to more sunlight. You can even test it by covering up most of your hand when you go out in the sun. You will only get the blisters on the part that received sunlight.
