After taking an antibiotic I have severe heartburn, indigestion, acid reflux stomach pain and nausea. I am miserable. I can't eat anything. I tried Prilosec, it helped me it , bit I still have all the other symptoms.

Call the medical practitioner who prescribed the antibiotics. You may need to switch to another type. We're you taking them according to directions?

Change anti-biotic asap.

Try a stomach liquid... Gaviscon make several flavours - aniseed I find is the best.
You can also buy a cheaper brand at the local supermarket which is thicker and in my opinion works much better than the more expensive ones.

Have about 15mls after each meal (when you can eat) and more importantly last thing at night before bed.Besure and take a really big spoonful, I promise it will work... just give it a chance.

Leave anything with acid in it alone for the time being... orange juice,fizzy drinks,onions etc... Milk is very good right now a natural acid neutralizer

I forgot to mention I only took it for 2 days. These symptoms have been going on for 3 weeks since taking the meds. I went to my GP and he says I have GERD and take Prilosec. I wanted to get other opinions.
