Horrible Upper Abdominal Pain!! PLEASE HELP!!
I have what I call these "attacks" they usually happen late at night or very early morning hours. They are in the center upper part of my abdomen and usually last an hour or two and come with nauseau vomitting cold sweats. They have been happening a lot more frequent, like every night to every other night. Last night was the worst ever it lasted 5 hours and had me in tears. The pain was going into my back and into the right side of my chest. I have an appt in two weeks but don't know if I can handle the pain that long. I feel some better today My abdomen is still sore to touch or push on and it still hurts but nothing like last night. Is this something I should be going to an ER for to seek attention immediately? Thanks

Persoanlly... I would recommend a visit to your doctor ASAP. Better safe than sorry. Let them decide if its something to worry about of not.

personally I feel that your attack are unique as normally they don't last for more than an hour but you felt it for 2 and also 5 hours more. So I would immediately advice you to rush and get your ER and chest X-ray done. And after that consult a cardiologist. Because I am not able to judge your problem properly, so its better you consult an doctor.
