    Having abdominal pain
I have been having abdominal pain that goes down to my leg for the past week... I have had cat scans and ultrasounds and blood work for them to tell me it is a UTI and give me meds. I am now taking Amoxicillin since Monday morning and am now having diarrhea with the pain. Today my pain is at an 8 and seems to be increasing. My doctor won't be in the office until 130. Should I go see someone now or wait until 130? Any suggestions on what this could be. I have no symptoms of a UTI I just had some bacteria in my urine when I went in so that's what they said was causing the pain. I do not know if I believe this.

A UTI/bladder infection is accompanied by burning sensation, and the inability to urinate, burning while urinating. I don't remember abdominal pain when I have a UTI. There is something else going on if you are having diarrhea with the abdominal pain.

I don't have any suggestions as to what it could be. Are you a diabetic? We don't know your medical history, what meds you are on, so it is extremely difficult to diagnose over the net, mom22.

I would say you should go see someone.

Abdominal pain is common in some people with a UTI. It's called bladder spasms.

Also bacteria is not supposed to be present in normal healthy urine, this is why you were diagnosed with a UTI.
