    Does he have cancer?
Something's always been different about my boyfriend and I've never understood what it was that was different about him until last night when he confided everything in me. Basically he told me that his health is affecting everything he does, and that he knows something's wrong. We fear that it is cancer. Mainly his symptoms are being tired all the time, aches and sores in his body everywhere, a weird tingleing feeling on his right side, almost like his body was going numb. Sometimes he just gets a huge throbbing that can be enough to make him drop to his knees, in tears from the pain. I really need anyone's advice on what this could be, what we should do. Doctors say nothings wrong but its quite obious to both of us that somehting is wrong. You guys don't even know how much I care about him , this is important to me and now I'm acutally scared that he is dying. Hes always tired. He says it started about 2 years ago and he ingored it all this time just putting it off and now its starting to get worse and its taking over his life. He doenst even go to school anymore ( were 16) because he is too tired to do it. I care about him so much and I don't know what to do. Hes gone to doctors in the past and they've said nothing was wrong. Having this problem that we don't know affects everything he does. It consumes his mind and its all he can think about because he says " I know something is wrong with me, i remember what it was like to live normally" he acutally thinks he is dying. He gave up on a lot of things in his life and through his ambitons out the door because he figured he was going to die anyway. He thinks its acutally killing him and its getting worse and worse. If anyone has any advice mainly on what this is from past experiences etc then I would really appreciate ansers, any self diagnoses you might think it is , anything, because I'm scared. Its getting worse and I'm scared I might loose him if I don't figure out what's wrong and fast.
    Thanks so much

First off, I would never tell you he has nothing wrong. It seems as if he has been evaluated by physicians according to what you say. I believe if it were cancer he would have deteriorated much more than he has over a period of 2 years. Has he seen a psychologist/psychiatrist in order to rule out any diagnosis? He is way too young to be demonstrating these feelings. I believe that would be my next move.
    Hope this helps

Im am NOT a doctor so I can't give any medical advice or consultation.

But from experience, PLEASE go to a few doctors and get opinions and answers PLEASE before its too late.

    Never give up!

Gone to doctors in the PAST,

So what, go to doctors now, at 16 and he is not going to school, I would assume his parents are aware of this, and should be taking him in for medical evaluatons if it is this serious. ( where are the parents)

The signs can be many things from muscle and nerve damge to even emotional or mental problems to drug problems. So online we can't tell you what is wrong, he needs to have this checked out professionaly.
Today most cancer is cured if and when it is caught early enough, when it is not cured is normally when people wait because they are too scared to go to the doctor.
