Continuation of red blood cells with blood and protein in urine
I saw the urologist today, I over heard him tell the nurse I needed a biopesy immeditaly, I gasped. Then they talked in a low voice arguing. He came in I told him what happened over the weekend... he said you have kidney stones I told him how the hospital I won't say which one said that I did not. He said you have so much blood in your urine if its not kidney stones then... (he shruged his shoulders). Well, I go in the morning to get dye and have a test that they did not do at the other hospital. So we will see. On one hand I will be glad to know what it is, but what if the other doctors were right and I (still) don't? Does this mean another doctor? Kidney doctor? What does he mean I have so much blood that if its not stones than he does not know? Oh, and there is still no infection, hopefully JP will c this. Also I will keep this updated.
    Wish me well

We should absolutely not be excreting blood and protein in our urine, think about. We need those benefits within our body. To know this is happening means kidney malfunction. Good luck on your test and let us know. Yes, it will mean another doctor, but what do you want the outcome to be. In the dark and ill?

You are grasping at straws my dear, please get the proper tests done by the proper doctors.

    J-9 was the other correspondent.

You should never be able to hear the doctor and nurse arguing, that is so uncalled for and unprofessional.

    Yes, that was me... J_9.

You need to see a nephrologist, yes another doctor.

You probably need a KUB done (kidneys, urethra, bladder).

It could be a number of things, although, since we don't have a copy of your lab work, don't know your personal medical history, as well as family history, there is really little we can do.

As a nurse, it is against the law for me to specifically diagnose you, however I can help you find the right direction in diagnosis and treatment.
