    Need answers about red bug like bumps in pubic region after using depilatory cream?
    I'm a 20 year old woman who used a depilatory cream on my pubic region for the third time and touched up with a razor that was probably dull on spots that were still there. The first two times I used it was normal but I also didn't use the razor. Anyway as the hair starts to get thick I got one reddish puffy like insect bite looking bump. Then when it died another sprang up near it. Then when that died I got one up at the top of my bikini line. Now as its dyeing after I squeezed it to death another one appeared close to it. I haven't had sex in over eight months and just had an std test done last month and everything came back normal. Bumps are large, red, and itchy. Could this be some type of ingrown hair situation or type of infection or something more serious?

    Sounds like an allergic reaction and combination with razor burn, maybe even ingrown hair go to your doc and don't squeeze the bumps
