O.k. here is the situation: A rotating clothes dryer, with a rotational diameter of 2.7m, caries a load of 30kg. I need to find out what torque is required to rotate the clothes dryer from the centre shaft. Can anybody help me with any relevant equations? thanks, joe.

I have a 1992 f-250 ext. cab, 2wd,7.3 liter diesel. The 4 spd. Electronic o.d. transmission is no good. Will a c-6 trans bolt up to the motor? Will it work? Are the Torque converters the same? I realize I may have to move trans support, lengthen drive line, etc. Can you help me find some answers?
