How do I select a gear box for conveyor with1 HP,1440 rpm I/P and 2 ton load O/P

What size Inline worm GB should I select for a conveyor system having I/P 1 HP, 1440 rpm and Load at O/P should is 2 ton? How do you convert the load in tons to torque in Kgm?

Thanks for your reply ebaines. The 2" plate is part of a support base for a casing jack which is used to pull pipe out of the ground. The hole is where the pipe comes up through the base.The hydraulic cylinder that is used to pull the pipe is actualy a hollow cylinder that sits over the hole...
