Single phase vs 3 phase specs

Hi, my fan runs off a single phase motor '4hp, 3kw 17a' cap start cap run 4 pole.
I am considering changing it to 3 phase as I have it in my building.

Th question is, do I have to use the same spec motor in 3 phase as I would in single?
Eg: 4hp 3kw 3 phase motor? Or can I run a smaller motor eg: 2hp 1.5kw 3.6 amp 4 pole in 3 phase?
