    I'm by no means a math expert but I believe the first thing you need to do is put them in slope intercept form (y=mx+b) and from there you can graph them and classify them. This is only what I think should happen, I can't tell for sure without knowing what your teacher is looking for.

    We're not going to do your homework here. But here's a hint: solve one equation to find either x or y and plug the value into the same varible for the other equation. Here's a good guide to help you: Systems of Linear Equations: Solving by Substitution
