    Length of a tangent
    What is the locus of a point the distance of which from a fixed straight line is always equal to the length of the tangent from this point to a circle.If it is a parabola find the location of directrix and focus.

    I have already given the question.Another way of saying the thing is to prove the locus of the point as per given condition is a parabola.please answer the question.it will be a great help.
