    square root to the power n
    Hi
    I'm having trouble simplifying the following equation.

    (1+√5)^n where ^ is to the power of

    if n=10 is there a way to express this without using a real number

    is a real number. It appears to be irrational, but it's real nonetheless.

    is another way to write it.

    You can multiply it out and get another form of the number
