    Can the Perimeter be found?
    2(L+W)=Perimeter of a rectangle
    Area=131/2 square units
    L of one side = 1/5 the measurement of the perimeter
    Can the Perimeter be found?

    You can set up two equations in 2 unknowns:

    From the area:

    L*W = 13.5 (I assume that your notation of 131/2 is meant to signify thirteen and a half).

    From the perimeter: P = 2*(L+W), where L = P/5, so P = 5L, giving:

    5L = 3*(L+W)

    You now have two equations in the unknowns L and W. Can you take it from here?
