    What is the formula in getting the average speed?

    Distance divided by time, example; to find miles per hour. 200 miles in 150 minutes (2 hours 30 minutes) 200/150= 1.3333 times 60 minutes in a hour equals an average of 80 miles per hour over 200 miles.
