    Word Problems in Pre-Cal (not too hard)
    The question is:

    A rectangle has a base on the x-axis and it's lower two vertices on the parabola y=x^2-16
    A.) Express the Area, A, of the rectangle as a function of x.
    B.) Express the Perimeter, P, of the rectangle as a function of x.

    If you post the work that you've already done on the problem, it's likely that someone very knowledgeable concerning what you're asking, will come along to help you.
