I'm having a hard time understanding this portion of my algebra homework. I just can't grasp the concept. Find the equation of the line parallel to y=3x-2 and passing through (3,2). Put your equation in slope-intercept form.

Does anybody know how to do slope and y intercept? I need to figure out how to graph it? Please help Thnk yu:)

The line through (4,0) that is perpendicular to the line x+y=3 I am sort of lost and unsure if I am on the right track. y-0=-1(x-4) y-0=-1x+4 +0 +0 y=-1x + 4 Is this the answer in slope intercept form:confused:
