    Solving molarity problems
    Find the molarity of a solution in which 58g of NaCl are dissolved in 2.5 L of solution.:)

    Molarity = moles/L of solution

    Set it up this way.

    And, I guess that you know how to convert the mass of NaCl into moles?


    If you don't, find the relative molecular mass of NaCl. This value will equal to the mass of one mole of NaCl.

    its very simple
    the problem goes in this way.
    first find number of moles of nacl by dividing the given wt with its molecular wt.
    then use the formula
    molarity= no of moles of solute / total volume of the solution (multiply it by 1000 if vol. is given in ml)
