    Finding the variable
    So the question is solve for the variable y

    I'm new and not sure what all the symbols mean, but if it is ay divided by x, equals cz then:

    - multiply both sides by x, which would make it cancel out on the left side, and the right would be czx. ( ay=czx)
    -then divide BOTH sides by a, so you can get y alone, which solves for y!

    so, y=czx/a I hope this helps!
