    Math common core fourth grade
    Willie has 394 trading cards. He wants to put the cards in 4 albums. Each album will have the same number of cards. He will give the extra cards to his brother. How many cards will be in each album?
    A. Write a number sentence for the problem. Use a variable to represent the quotient.
    B. Solve the number sentence you wrote for part A. Explain your answer.

    Definitely a division problem with a remainder. Common core means you should be able to relate this to real life. Has your teacher taught you long division yet? You're in the last quarter of 4th grade, and you should know this already. I'm hoping you're into decimals and probability by now!
