    A gardener has 100 meters of fencing to enclose two adjacent rectangular gardens.
    A gardener has 100 meters of fencing to enclose two adjacent rectangular gardens. The gardener wants the enclosed area to be 350 square meters. What dimensions should the gardener use to obtain this area?

    I already know to have to formulas 4l +3w = 100 and 2lw = 350
    I need how to solve the problem.

    look at it this way 350/2 = 175 each rectange is 175 sq metres what is the common denominator 5 so 7 * 25 = 175, gives an overall area 14 * 25 when doubled
