    Pre-calc word problem
    Two mothers and their two daughters went shopping. Each spent the same amount of money, and the total spent was $243. If the amount each spent was a whole number of dollars, how was this possible?

    There is a play on words on the mothers and daughters.

    Please try to understand the problem. It's saying two mothers and their two daughters. But not given the relationship between them. Might be in two mothers one is daughter but mother of another...
