    kinematics help?
A skier of mass 60 kg stands behind starting gates at the top of a racing slope of length 50m inclined at 30° to the horizontal. When the gates are released she begins to slide down the smooth slope.
    - find the acceleration.
    - find an expression for the velocity of the skier in terms of time as she moves down the slope.
    - determine the velocity of the skier when she reaches the bottom of the slope.

I've been stuck on this question for ages and my teacher at school has been absent for a few weeks, any help would be extremely appreciated!

Start with the assumption that there is no friction between the snow and the skis. The acceleration will be equal to .

Once you have the acceleration you can apply regular kinematics equations to find velocity () and final velocity ().
