    What is the average speed ?
    Katrina run 400m in 1min and 2sec,Rose run the 1500min in 4min.What is the average speed of each person

    The first thing to do is change those times into seconds.
    So 1min and 2 secs =? Secs
    and 4 minutes =?? Secs

    Can you do that part?

    Also, I think that you have a mistake in the question that you typed and that you meant 1500 m instead of 1500 min :)

    Once you have found out the number of seconds it took Katrina and Rose to run, you simply need to divide the meters run by the number of seconds.

    For example, if the number of seconds that Katrina ran is 'x', then you could write that...

    400 m divided by 'x'seconds is equal to "____ meters/second". And that is how you would find Katrina's average speed. Just apply the same method for Rose and you've got it!
