    Vector integration ( analytical mechanic)
    How I can solve this problem please?
    * an aircraft hens north with an aircraft speed of (Va) , the wind direction is east with speed (Vw)what is the true motion of the aircraft?

    I guess you mean the wind it towards the East.

    Find the resultant using Pythagoras' Theorem

    thanks I got it in analytical mechanic's book.
    V(true)=Va+Vw
    V(true)=i Va + j Vw.
