    I don't understand this trig proof!
    I tried this proof all day and I didn't get the right answer... :mad:

    tanx - cotx+ (2cos^2 x) / (cosx sinx) = secx cscx

    You should memorize the following (they're used in a lot of proofs)











    So, let's try substituting.



    Bry putting everything over a common denominator [sin(x)cos(x)]

Hey, how do I prove this inequality? sin(a+b)<sin a + sin b If I write out the sin(a+b) I get this: sin a cos b + sin b cos a - sin a - sin b<0 But I got no idea, what to do next. Any help appreciated, thanks.
