    formula:

    CAVA divide by CBVB = a divide by b

    CAVA x b = CBVB x a

    CAVA x b divide by VB x a = CB

    QUESTION:
    CALCULATE BY USING THIS FORMULA

    That's great. You need to calculate the number of moles of something but you haven't given us the data to do the calculations. If this is all the data you took, you're going to flunk. Guaranteed.

    We know the volume used, and some weird formula, but we don't know what CAVA or CBVB is or b or a or VB. We have no idea what the substance is or the concentrations of the titrant, etc. In short you haven't provided sufficient information to calculate the number of moles.

    What did you titrate with? What was the titrant's concentration (moles/Liter)? What were the weights of the starting samples? What is the equation for the reaction? You need all of that to do what you ask.

    For the fweird formula part, I think I guessed what was it:



    I bet C_A is the concentration of A, V_A the volume of A and a the number of moles of A. And that's the same thing for the 'B's.

    However, Nargis786, to calculate, we need numbers!
