    Like always this question has been asked a dozen times. Maybe we should make a sticky of physics formulas? (MODS INPUT?) Anyhow do you need speed or velocity. Only difference between speed and velocity is that speed has just the magnitude and velocity has both the magnitude and direction. So the formula for speed would be distance/time and the formula for velocity would be displacement/time.
